Moving Walk Applications

Location is important because it defines the physical environment where the moving walk equipment will be used.
Indoor locations are considered the “default” location.
Outdoor locations require that the equipment be weatherproofed and be able to operate in both extreme heat and cold conditions. This may involve the addition of heaters to prevent icing and sufficient ventilation to keep the drive unit from overheating. Outdoor moving walks must be covered by a canopy (by Others) to prevent direct exposure to precipitation.
Located in the pit, a type-proofed oil separator is also required to separate water and oil in order that the oil can be safely disposed of according to local regulations.
