TAC50 Digital Controller
An intelligent solution for mid- and high-rise applications.

The TAC50 control system uses fuzzy logic for better overall performance. The idea behind fuzzy logic is remarkably simple: it allows a computer system to gather precise conclusions from imprecise information, much like the way a human being thinks.

TAC50 uses input from our ultra-sensitive load weighing system to determine what percentage of car capacity is available. It considers this and a multitude of other variables to dispatch cars for maximum performance and minimal wait time.

Building power supply is utilized with the utmost efficiency thanks to TAC50’s VVVF Quantum Quiet Drive. This vector-controlled, pulse width modulated AC motor drive system ensures and an excellent ride by precisely controlling the torque and speed during acceleration, high speed deceleration, and leveling.

Information from the load sensors allows the TAC50 to calculate the precise amount of electrical power required for smooth starts. Using this data, the Quantum Quiet Drive prevents rollback and other effects of unbalanced loads in the car while maximizing the energy efficiency of the entire system and reducing the amount of heat produced in the machine room.

TAC50 features the SmartTech™ door system. The constant "self-adjusting" nature of the SmartTech system ensures faster overall performance through exacting control over door operation, regardless of elements that might influence it. The SmartTech door system responds rapidly to objects blocking elevator doors thanks to our MicroLight® door protection, a series of infrared beams of light positioned in the door's edge that provides an entire curtain of protection for passengers.

The “vital signs” of your elevator system can be monitored at a glance via our Intelligent Management System (IMS), a PC-based system. You can see real time group dispatching display, real time status display as well as real time traffic analysis. IMS stores all historical elevator traffic data to allow for fast traffic analysis when needed. You can view all this information from a station in your building or from virtually anywhere in the world.
