Life Cycle Assessment
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) allows for the examination and valuation of a product or services entire cradle-to-grave existence and the environmental impacts associated with that cycle. LCA studies allow businesses producing or providing services to clearly identify their effect or footprint on the environment.
ThyssenKrupp Elevator has completed LCA studies on our complete elevator product line and process including manufacturing, shipping, service, repair, modernization and end of life. The LCA studies were conducted in accordance with ISO (International Standards Organization) 14040 standards and have been critically reviewed by a third party panel.
The output from these studies has given ThyssenKrupp the knowledge to intelligently examine the footprint of our products and manufacturing processes for continuous improvements.
