Manufacturing.
We've taken the best and made it better. The company that invented the Oildraulic® elevator and introduced pre-engineered elevators continues to build - in our own factories - practically every component that goes into a ThyssenKrupp elevator. The same manufacturing facilities that have produced more elevators than any other company in North America still make our own gears, cut our own sheet metal, and wormhole our own renowned valves. We test and retest at the component and system levels, according to the most exacting standards in the business. And now we're building on a history of innovation with the most advanced R&D facilities in the industry.
New Installations.
ThyssenKrupp's selection of pre-engineered Oildraulic, geared and gearless traction elevators includes the right machine for practically any application, from two stories to skyscrapers. And of course, if none of our pre-engineered solutions precisely fits your needs, we'll build to your specifications.
But ThyssenKrupp Elevator goes far beyond new installations - we are committed to exceeding your expectations in everything to do with vertical transportation.
Maintenance.
No matter what kind of equipment you operate, ThyssenKrupp offers you reliable, cost-effective service for maintaining the value of your investment. Our people, our tools and training, our commitment to responsiveness and the overall strength of our national service network have made ThyssenKrupp the largest maintenance provider in North America. And our nearly three hundred local maintenance teams are backed by ITS, our International Technical Services center headquartered in Dallas, Texas.
ITS has no equivalent in the elevator industry - it's a technical brain center concentrating on training, field engineering, and printed circuit board repair. ITS develops technical manuals and trains local maintenance technicians on the equipment of every major manufacturer. Its field engineers provide telephone support around the clock and, in emergency situations, they can fly out at a moment's notice to tackle the toughest problems on site. ITS also maintains an enormous inventory of parts and pre-tested printed circuit boards ready for overnight shipment to anywhere in North America.
Modernization.
As you might expect, ThyssenKrupp's expertise in new elevator equipment leads right into our specialization in elevator modernization. From control systems, door operators, and drive systems to machines, power units, and valves, we offer a comprehensive range of products to improve your elevators' performance, reliability, and aesthetics. No matter what brand of equipment you operate, ThyssenKrupp modernization can help you save money, increase your property's value, and improve traffic management in your building.
SoundNet®.
Our 24-hour elevator emergency monitoring service, SoundNet, provides a cost-effective means of meeting all ADA requirements while ensuring the kind of quick, accurate response to elevator emergencies that can reduce your liabilities exposure.

Architect Direct enables building planners everywhere to select the right elevator, then download fully customized specification documents and CAD drawings - all in a matter of minutes. ThyssenKrupp Elevator does it all - and we do it all locally, through over three hundred offices all over the U.S. and Canada.
