Description

The Fritz G. Lanham Federal Building opened in 1996. At the time of the modernization, it housed 13 Otis Elevators:

6 high rise Basement - 14 15 landings 3500 lb. capacity
6 low rise Basement - 7 8 landings 3500 lb. capacity
1 high rise Basement - 14 15 landings 6000 lb. capacity

A variety of federal offices in the building employed 2,513 people. The building's 752,736 gross square feet included 661,166 net rentable square feet.
